E-mail is great, and is especially nice for communications during an escrow, but I find that I'm more efficient if you just call me. I make it a point to take my own calls and if need be I return calls VERY promptly for the time sensitive stuff.
My clients get their issues resolved without an annoying volley of emails or phone tag...I forward my desk phone directly to my cellphone so you can usually get me on the first call.
